good luck finding a suitable home for him. It sounds like there are some possibilties here on the thread. (Aside from the self righteous crazy's)

Isn't there a Pets thread on the forums? That might be worth a try.

I give you a ton of credit for not ripping into those few that gave you a hard time. I bet you would make a better puppy owner then you think, with that kind of patience!! lol

Ok..there's no reason to start this up again.
I'm sure she feels bad enough that some people got very upset over her wanting to give the puppy away.
I don't agree with her decision on that and I think it's wrong personally but it's time to drop it. I don't feel like getting all heated again and I'm sure her feelings are hurt which is not really what I intended to do. I just wanted her to keep the dog.

I think she means the person who went soooo out of their to get the dog and is now so easily giving him away.
I have to say-I agree.
I was 23 when I got my dog..he was 10 weeks old..I worked in the city and lives in East Moriches. I woke up EVERY day for three months at 2:30 in the morning when he would wake up and cry because he had to pee. Then I would go back to sleep and wake up again at 4:30 am to go to work. I didn't get home until 7pm but made sure he was walked during the day. When he was eight months old..I moved to Queens. I really had to move and waited until I found a place that would accept him. I was pretty broke and had nothing but made sure he always had food and paid $60 a week to have him walked. I would NEVER give my dog away. I would live on the streets before I would do that.
Yes, it is hard work..it's usually a 10-13 year commitment..but you are supposed to realize that BEFORE you adopt/buy one. There have been many times that I thought I would slap the sh*t out of my dog Jack. He's eaten my furniture, a whole through the wall, he's costs me thousands of dollars..but I chose him and I love him and I could never give him away because it's hard work. Of course it's hard work. Eveything in life is hard work. That to me is ridiculous.
JMO but I had to get that out.

You made a GREAT point! I AGREE WITH YOU COMPLETELY!

That was beyond uncalled for. Act like an adult. You should feel ashamed.
