This really is a touchy topic for us.
The only thing I am willing to cave for kids is the RD...and that's because FMIL is paying for it.
Otherwise I honestly don't think kids...from 0-21 should be at the wedding, and kids 0-16 at the shower. Sorry JMHO.

I am a mom of a 18month old and i just cant understand why people would take their kids to a wedding. Some events are just not for kids

ETA: I am against them at showers too.

Dont see the big deal in bringing such a lil one along... she wont be running around all over the place

I agree...at 2 months, the only thing babies do is eat, sleep and poop...if there's some crying, that can usually be taken care of by giving the baby a milk bottle or pacifier

I wouldn't want a baby at my shower or my wedding...and I don't think anyone who feels this way is a bridezilla, just that every bride has her own personal preferences. I have a longtime friend who is bringing her baby to my wedding but I said yes only because she is flying all the way from Florida to come and she will be breastfeeding. After reading this post I feel like I should have told her no though...it sounds like it won't be a good time for her or the baby.

it should be ok -- 2 month old babies sleep a lot anyway

I dont see why it would be a problem- LOL they wont be eating. But it might be easier for the mom to have the husband take her for a little so she can relax.
