My future hubby's parents have both passed on. Extremely sad and I get teary just thinking about it. I am wondering for those whose parents have passed on or future parents have passed on what sort of special things are you doing to celebrate them or incorporate them as part of your day?
If only they could be there ... <3

We had a memory candle for each of our grandparents and my Mom. I had a bo-k charm with pic of my mom and we also had favors (donations to hospice) in memory of my mom!

My Father suffers from a mental illness and I know he won't be able to attend my wedding. I plan on having a picture in a charm attached to my bouquet.

my grandfather passed away, as did my FH mother and grandmother.
I will have a BK charm with a picture of him and I together, and FH will have 2 charm pins with their pictures on his suit.
At the reception, we will have pictures of all 3, with candles lit to remember them

we are hoping to have something read at the ceremony...
we are also doing memorial candles at the reception...
