True story: Just happened to my friend

My friend who lives in DC near me got engaged about 6 months in September. She was with her fiance for 4 years.

Long story short...she suspected something wasn't 'right' b/c her fiance was staying out all the time and acting strange. She snooped and checked his sent mail messages...only to find massive emails back and forth between him and one of her bridesmaids....a girl we both went to school with, in our sorority. They had been 'dating' one another for 4 months!! So my poor friend has been planning a wedding, putting down deposits and now finds all this out. Needless to say...wedding is off, his family is disgusted...and he continues to date the other girl who of course is no longer her friend.

She has lost $3000 in deposits and is getting through it all...but what a terrible story. Sorry for the sad story...but I just couldnt get over it. When you think you know someone...

And he had the nerve to say 'things happen, we were just good friends and one thing led to another'....he would have gone through with the marriage while the other woman walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid!!! Men like that make me sick...(women too, don't want to single out just the men)

I'm horrified... and I can't wait til he eventually cheats on this BM ex-friend next. disgusting.

Wow, that is so incredibly unfair to your friend. Stories like that just upset me. Your friend was ready to walk down the aisle with this person she thought was her Prince, only to find out that he's seeing HER FRIEND??

Once again, I must ask, what is going on in the world?

OMG!!! that's HORRIBLE!! I feel so bad - what kind of friend was her BM for god sakes let alone the man that she was suppose to marry!!

I feel so sorry for your friend...but checking his email...might have just saved her from a miserable marriage.

As for him and her... that's just disgusting. They are both equally disgusting. What goes around comes around!

Thanks for everything you guys said...I am going to cheer her up as best as I can. Its so sad..she even made favors, baskets, pew bows, cry packs and asked me if i wanted it all..it was a little awkward cause I don't even know what to say.

He is such a loser and yes its better she found out now...and to think...she felt horrible for invading his space by checking her email!! I guess its the last thing you hope to find.

I hope no one ever has to go through that!!
