OK So as some of you may know I lost two tiny little stones in my ring i actully banged my ring really hard and broke them and they fell out.
The Jeweler who made my ring wants me to leave it from a thurs to a sat. I think thats a little crazy its two tiny stones why so long?
Im affraid that theyre going to switch my stone.
Whould you leave you ring at the jeweler that long? What do I do?

if you absolutely need to leave the ring, i'd ask him to remove the stone and then bring the stone back when you are picking up the ring and have him reset it.

i like that idea that way no worries
and maybe tell him to give you a call when he is less busy cuz you cant be w/o your ring for that long

he told me just to leave it and it was weird the way he was acting. He was like its not big deal i made the ring why cant i fix it. Almost like he was insulted. I jsut dont understand why it would take so long for 2 tiny diamonds. UGh

you have to be careful with this though. it goes back to the same thing with waitors and waitresses. if you're rude to them, they will spit in your food.
same here... if you let him know that you dont trust him... he will be more compelled to do something shady. I'm sure he wont... but you get what I'm saying.
the microscope thing is called a loop by the way.

I would not leave it ... I was always told to say in eyes view of your ring... Tell them to order the stones and when they come in to call you and you will stay there while they put in the stones.. So they do not have a chance to switch out your stone

Re: Trusting your Jeweler
each time i had to leave my ring at my stupid j*rk jewler i had to wait about 3 weeks each time before i finally got it back...and each time i got it back something was wrong with the ring...Yellow gold instead of white gold, cracked diamond that they said I did when i left the store in a matter of 5 minutes....
I dont trust my jewler anymore and am NEVER using him again, I dont even know if these are my real stones in my ring anymore...One can only hope...

I am so sorry to hear that. I would go by word of mouth and find someone who's very reputable. I have to do that now cause my stuff is from blue nile and i'll be dammed if i have to send my stuff through the mail anytime i have a problem...

Re: Trusting your Jeweler
I see a scratch in my ring, and I had my jeweler inspect it, they say it's perfect, but I still see it... they're never back their very long, but I am SEVERELY freaked out... it's THERE. It could be a completely different broken diamond... GAH. Y'all make me paranoid!
