I can't see photos of the Emerald Room. I go to the CHCC website, and it doesn't list it. Whats the max headcount for that room?
I remember telling our BM our max was 275 and he told us Emerald room was out for us. I'm going to say anywhere from 200-250 max??

Trying to choose between venues
I dont recommend Crest Hollow especially if you are going to be on a floor with multiple parties going on. My sis got married here. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, but a few things went wrong:1. My sis went over by 2 people and a manager was extremely disrespectful the day of the wedding as they entered the venue. My limo arrived before hers and the manager came looking for screaming my name as I exited the limo since i had sent him the list the morning of. He told me that she went over by two people and when they arrive they are not crossing the line until they are paid. He then proceeded to draw the line for me with his hand. At this point I didnt even have a purse on me to deal with it before they had to.
2. My sister arrived maybe five minutes after I had proceeded to the bridal suite. The same manager told them that they needed the money for the two guests ($190) before they could enter and had them cornered in a room at the entrance. Mind you they didnt have any wallets on them. How disrespectful to do it at that time after over $30k paid up front. At least wait until they are settled in. This guy was beyond obnoxious. They were upset but had to smile the whole wedding after that terrible experience which they are still trying to resolve. They did get a refund, but this had nothing to do with money. I hope this manager was fired by now.
3. The menu was not as promised. There was three different types of chicken on the menu in addition to a shrimp option and a vegetarian option. Not a single beef option. This was not the original menu they were given. They had so much going on there that they maybe ran out and had to use an alternate menu. Also during the cocktail hour outside two stations were just duplicates.
Lastly, her reception took place on the second floor. It was a little embarrassing when the music from the next party was thumping as her MOH and best man were giving their speeches. Everyone was saying 'omg why wont the dj turn down the music' thinking it was coming from our room.
Im not trying to sway your option about Crest Hollow, but I am telling you about the exact experience with her wedding only. It is also a fact that they are a wedding factory. How can you give your guest the very best service with so many parties going on. Another thing that my sis was upset about was the fact that they set-up about four roll-away bars at each corner of the room. Very tacky!
If you choose Crest Hollow I suggest you address how these issues will be handled and ensure that you ask many questions as possible regarding every detail. Try to get the basement room which from my understanding is the only room if you don’t want to deal with an issue that the noise from the other party if you do choose them. Another option would be to try to choose a day when they will not be so crowded.
Good luck

We chose Crest Hollow, we fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. The cocktail hour only has a fee if you choose do have it outside. Our wedding is in May so we obviously chose to have it outdoors because it is so gorgeous! I cannot wait !
I am a CHCC bride too! I'm in the emerald room what about you?
I am in the Plaza room :) I love it!!!

Thanks for all your input, ladies. We're gonna book with The Swan Club. We went to their Bridal Open House last night, and we fell in love with it all over again. We met with our Banquet Manager Stephanie, and she was wonderful.
