SO my FH is saying he wants to pick his tux from Men's Warehouse...

I have heard mixed reviews but don't know where else to send him to get pricing...

Any tux shop recommendations in the great L.I. area?

Don't do it! They have a terrible selection.

Try lake shore formals in ronkonkoma, they were great and had a huge selection.

We went to Men's Warehouse and found them very expensive. The biggest turnoff was that they don't have an inventory to try on, so you are pretty much choosing from a book. FH was unsure of what he wanted and needed to see how he looked and felt ina few different options.

We actually just went to Black Tie in Smithtown this weekend and they were great. You are able to try on anything you want.

We got men's tuxes from the wedding plaza in FP for 130ea, groom free.
I liked there the best cause my dress a light Ivory - men's warehouse ivory was kinda yellow.

We are going to check out Tuxedo Park first. I am really pushing for FH to buy his. It means a lot to me that he own the clothes he gets married in. Silly, I know! So I understand that Tuxedo Park can possibly sell him one and would then have the same one for the groomsmen and dads to rent.

Men's warehouse has an awesome tux that's new. It's from Vera Wang. It's fits an athletic build, fh has broad shoulders and a tiny waist so tuxesusually look ridiculous on him. We rented this one in charcoal and they did have it to try on. I was so happy with how handsome he looked. They have to take it in a smidge, which they will for the groom, and it will be perfect!

We got it in charcoal too! Love the Vera Wang tux. My FH is slim and the have the slim fit which looks great on him.

They have a black version as well but I believe it's the same as the charcoal.
