Two wedding bands?

I ordered a diamond wedding band today and wanted to get another plain platinum band for those times that I don't want to wear a diamond band. My fh said I am nuts because everyone just wears one band and never changes, at least those people who he knows. Is anyone getting two, one diamond and one plain??? Thanks

I'm also going to be getting two bands....a diamond one that compliments my E ring and then a plain one that matches my FH's. I wanted the plain one to wear for when i do things that i might lose the diamond one such as going to the beach, yard work, etc.

I have two bands. Most of my friends do as well. My E- ring was custom made so the band to go w/ it was also made. My other ring is my everyday to match his. Which I let him pick out since I had mine.

I am not getting 2 rings for myself but my FH will have 2 rings. 1 plain gold for wearing to work, the other platnium with gold on outer edge with 6 diamonds across the top.

My diamond wedding band is being custom made to match my e-ring.

We're getting matching plain bands for everyday. I'm getting a diamond band also, although we are so ridiculously over budget with this wedding I amy not get it until our first anniversary.

What a great idea! I want a plain platinum band so I don't have to take it off for anything. My FI wants me to get a band with 6 diamond bagettes because it will match my E-ring. People have told me to go with the diamond band because if I don't get it now, I may never get it. I think getting 2 bands is a nice solution to this problem! Thank you for the suggestion!

I got two one plain platinum and the other platinum with diamonds. I would rather wear the plain one when I'm cleaning or doing yard work and especially when I'm working in the chlorine water.

The wedding band that I picked out has two rows of princess diamonds (one on top and bottom), then it has a row of baguetts (sp?) that are vertical and are in between the princess diamonds.. I feel that it will be a little much just to wear it all the time, but it matches perfectly with my engagement ring.. So I will order the same ring (platinum) as my FH, plus he wants a design on his and I want them to match..

I also am getting 2 wedding bands. One plain platinum and one platinum eternity band with diamonds & baguettes. At first I wasn't going to get an eternity of diamonds, I just wanted diamonds on top but I hate when the ring turns and you see the platinum part and only some of the diamonds. The plain one is great as you ladies mentioned for rougher things you do.
