TWOTY

No, this isn't what you think it is.

I had an idea and would like your feedback.
Please only answer/vote if you plan on going to TWOTY.

Should we;
1) Post the tickets for sale around 10pm on a random weeknight and whoever gets them, gets them?
2) Allow everyone who wants to go to TWOTY register over a 24 hour period of time - then have the computer select 200 people randomly?

I thought of this in an attempt to be fair to everyone who would like to go.

Either way there will be one table only for newlyweds.

Its really hard to say. It seems as though it was always done with it being posted at a certain time and then everyone jumped in to get tickets.

I would say of the two options 10 pm seems fair. Its like tickets to show - first come first serve!

Either one sounds fine... But will the night that it's at 10 pm be within a certain time frame? Like 3 days starting Friday... or like the any random night the second week in October... something like that?

Haven't decided but we would either give the specific night or state this week. During the week I would do any night Monday - Thursday thinking weekends are kind of busy.

The farest (did i spell that right haha), i believe would be the random drawing. Personally, my schedule varies between working days and night, and i know i'm not the only one who works nights. I guess i could have my FH order the tickets online, but i dunno if i trust him HAHA.
I bet a lot of people wont like this idea, and would rather the 10pm option since if it is first come first serve you have a 'better shot' at getting the tickets if all you do is sit at the computer, lol.
Either way my fingers are super crossed that my fh and i can attend!

Also, is there a limit? like only two tickets per person (fh and fw), cause if not, that might be a good idea.

I think the random selection this is fair. I do have a question though...

If someone went last year, do they get to go again this year? or are they automatically out of the running?

Other than the newlywed table the only people that can attend are brides to be and their FH. No relatives or friends!

They can go if they meet the qualifications!

I like the random computer selection idea.

I also like the idea of raising the minimum amount of posts... and not just cause I posted it.

How about you do both?? 100 ppl can buy after 10pm and the other 100 ppl will be chosen randomly by computer!!! It's only fair!!!!

This is a good ideas as well so if you miss the after 10 PM you still have a chance or vice versa
