ummmmm..email from moh...VENT*update

so on monday i posted that my moh called me and told me that
- noone in bp had $$$$ to spend on bach party
- that dresses should be cheaper ( i told her the price range was 220-250)
- that she doesnt want anyone doing her makeup (i told her i might get this for the girls)

anyway i was real upset bc i thought my girls would want to do something special for my bach party, but then i got freaked out bc if they're bitchin abt $$$ then will they have $ for the bridal shower, dress, wedding gft

ANYWAY...

today moh emails me and tells me that she realizes i only get married once and that SHE will only turn 30 once and that we could go away bc more ppl will come (she will invite her college friends to celebrate her 30th)

ummmmmmm

its MY bach party not your 30th bday party

ugh

i'm not going to say anything,i'm going to ignore this email

Tell her you will take her out to celebrate her bday a different weekend!

The best thing to do is ignore it. I have bitten my tongue to so many effed up things my BMs have done. Every single one has wronged me in some way throughout this entire process. I'd like to knock all their damn heads together! I'm so sorry you're dealing with this, but it's not worth the arguement!

I agree. I understand that a 30th b-day is a big deal, but it should not be compared to your wedding.

ETA: Your b-party is yours and not for her friends to come in and join. You're right about just ignoring this email. Sorry chica!!!

wow. I agree that you do only turn 30 once but your bach party isn't the time or the place for HER to celebrate.
ESP since she's the MOH. She should handing EVERYTHING for the focus to be on YOU and to make sure YOU have a great time. She can't possibly do that if she's celebrating herself.

I'm surprised your not saying anything. I'd say something in a heartbeat! I'm afraid that by not saying anything in this situation you would show that your approving of it.

1st thing trying to combine her 30th and ur bparty is just plain rude and offensive

2nd, I do understand where she is coming regarding the money issues, but it doesnt give her the right to be such a b@!tch to u

I would say: listen, I dont want to combine my party and urs. I feel we both deserve the spot light on our special occasions and with combining the parties it wont happen

OR

I really dont want to do that! how does ur 30th and my bparty have anything to do with each other???? (<-I would go with this one)

you politely say no thank you. i appreciate you trying to cut costs, but as you said, i only get married once and i'd rather not share the experience.

uggggh i can't think of any other way to put it unless i add a whole bunch of *()@#$) and @)#*@#$)s.

ye I have one of those too. she was supposed to be my MOH. now after being treated even worst than ur being treated right now, I see that she is not as good of a friend as I thought.
