Unwanted Hair

What can I do to get rid of those thin wispy hairs on the upper lip? My wedding is in two weeks - this may be gross but can I use a razor? Or should I just pluck the few out that look dark? Or maybe I should wax it?

THanks.

Re: Unwanted Hair

Don't shave it.. Get a waxing at least one week before your wedding. U don't want to take pics with a bad rash from a possible reaction to the wax. Or get a threading.

Re: Unwanted Hair

Go for threading a few days before the wedding. It last about 2-3 weeks. It's better than waxing. JMHO

Re: Unwanted Hair

You can try

-Nair (specifically made for face)
-those little razor/trimmers things they sell in CVS
-plucking with tweezers if its just a few

Re: Unwanted Hair

Plucking will make the hairs come back

I would use nair or one of those little 'eyebrow' trimmers/razors

I agree, the threading will get rid of them without any rash.

Re: Unwanted Hair

I wax mine, and my lip is so smooth afterwards. After a few hours the redness is gone. But I'd do it a few days before the wedding, even maybe closer to a week before, to be sure.

Does threading hurt on the upper lip? I've only gotten eyebrows done....

Re: Unwanted Hair

It is more sensitive than eyebrows but it should not be as red as waxing. I use neosporine afterwards. I don't let them but anything on me.

The red is gone with a few hours (for me!).

Re: Unwanted Hair

Why dont you wax, bleach or thread the hair. I dont really think you should shave it. It will come back thicker and you will have bumps

Re: Unwanted Hair

DO NOT SHAVE IT!! it will grow back horribly - you are better off waxing it off. it will last 2 weeks. or maybe try some @ home bleach.

this is my preference, but iwth the wedding so close, i'd go to bed bath and beyond and get those personal touch razor things use that. with waxing, i sometimes break out and i wouldn't chance it with the wedding 2 weeks away.

Re: Unwanted Hair

i use Sally Hanson facial hair remover. It's like nair. You put it on for 8 minutes and then wipe it off - and the hair is gone. It's cheap, painless, and won't leave any marks!

Re: Unwanted Hair

Do not shave it will only grow back faster. And then it starts to grow in black.

I would pluck it out with a tweezer if you can.
