UPDATE!!! From my Vent about best man and strippers
I'm sitting here in my office and the receptionist comes in with a bo-k of beautiful flowers, I'm thinking my FH sent them....I read the card and its from the Best Man!!
He said that he is sorry that he overstepped his bounds but he would never do anything to hurt me or FH and yes he has in fact cancelled the strippers.
Although I'm still upset, I accept his apology

Marcella, I had told FH and BM that I didnt care if they went to strip clubs but I really didnt want them to have strippers in the hotel room because of all the first hand stories I have heard. The BM took it upon himself to order 2 strippers for the room, FH called me yesterday and told me and I freaked out

OH WOW!!! That was so nice of him to apologize and to send you flowers too, that was just great!!! Sounds like he's a great guy afterall!
PS - I know what you mean about the strippers though, I'd be Pi$$ed too!

Marcella - I have to agree with you.... I am totally fine with my FH having strippers at his bach. party.....I trust him completely and although I have heard horror stories too - I know my FH would never do anything to jeapordize our relationship.
Keep in mind he is JUST looking....
On a totally seperate note, that was a very nice gesture on the side of the best man....

I don't think this is a competition between who can trust their FHS and who can't. I think this is really about friend's throwing bachelor parties going overboard and things that we have all heard that happen when some men go overboard. JIMO.

I'm sorry, but I agree with Stacey. Trust isn't an issue. If she doesn't want strippers in the hotel room (and Lord knows those girls are absolute slobs and pigs who will do anything for money), then the BM should respect her wishes - period. Stacey, you are entirely justified and right in your feelings. Long ago, strippers used to just that - strip and nothing else. These girls nowadays are total trash with no morals and no class. To have them alone in a hotel room is entirely unnecessary and inappropriate. I'm glad the BM came to his senses, Stacey!

I do trust John, I asked them not to have the strippers in the room after a story that the best man himself told me he did with strippers at another bachlor party. John didnt want to have strippers come to the room anyway, I thought it was wrong of the best man to put John in a situation that he didnt want to be in. John was pi$$ed at his best man for doing it as well. On top of all of this the best man asked me NOT to bring his girlfriend to see male strippers.
I wasnt trying to be his mother, I was simply stating my ONE request, I have had no other input in his bachlor party, this was just something I didnt like
