update on 1st song thread

soooo most of u read the thread i made abt the first song dilemma...

i've been SO busy w/work that it's been hard for me to log on ...hate work! lol

anyway...friend txt me last night and apologized for taking out her anger and frustration on me.... we went back and forth...blah blah

to b honest w/u guys, i could care less what song we end up choosing, FH and i dont have a song that we always dance to...we talked it over and we decided not to use the song my friend and i fought abt bc honestly it just has a bad vibe and blehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh brought 1 day of stress to my life

we changed it....

AND ITS FLIPPING HOT I LOVE IT

dont you dare change your song. that's beyond stupid of her! i wouldn't care if someone had the same song as me. in fact it would be kind of cool that we could say omg its our wedding song!

maybe you could enlighten her and mention that you're sure that at least ONE other person in this great big world has chosen it as well...and BEFORE her so maybe SHE should change hers. :)

She asks you what your song is, then says why did you ask her if you didnt want to know the answer?



I dont get where she is coming from, if the song has meaning to you and FH, why should it matter if she used the same song, is it some out there song that wouldnt be thought of normally?

Well you must have gotten the song from me because I picked that song to be my wedding song from the Day 1...and I know I sent it to you showing you what our song was!! Why would you only ask me NOW if I minded when you've known forever that that was the song I chose...and why would you even ask if you didn't want to hear the answer....why would you even pick the same song...like I just don't get it

Youre right. I dont know why I asked you. I guess I just thought I'd be able to share some details about my wedding and you wouldnt turn into a giant c*nt. Dont worry - I'll invite the guests to come dance the last 30 seconds of the song, then you can say that at least you got a whole minute of dancing with your husband to MY wedding song :)

I did bring it up, bc I am conscious of your feelings and whether or not it would bring you bad memories. I talked it over w/Dave who thought that you as a friend would not care nor be concerned since you would be attending to celebrate w/a friend that celebrated w/you. when i heard it played at your wedding, for whatver long it was, i said to dave oh wow we have the same song...cool... not at one point was i concerned that it woudl be the same...because honestly i'm sure all these songs are recycled anyway.
