Ladies I just got the call that my dress is in. I have a question for my lovely LIW ladies. Where did you buy your dress and were you able to try on the dress prior to your first fitting?
I got my dress at Paradise Bridal and they just told me that the first time I can put my dress on is 6 weeks before my wedding and I am nervous about how it is going to fit. TIA *****UPDATE******* So I called back and explained to paradise bridal that I just finished chemotherapy recently and I am worried about how its going to fit so I am going there Thursday morning to try it on at 11am I will update you all when I get back.

no you need to try it on when it comes in to make sure its right size!!!

I got mine from Lillette's. I was able to try it on once before I start my fittings.

i got mine @ Renate's .. i went there to try it on as soon as i found out it came in... i go for my first fitting on Thursday

I got mine in Lilletts and they called me and 2days later I went in to try it on then tonight I go for my first fitting...I tried it on like a month and a half ago.

i was able to go try on my dress as soon as it came on but i had to give them the balance when i went. i didnt start fittings for awhile after that

I can't believe yours came in already!! I'm so jealous!!! As of a month ago they still hadn't even placed the order for mine and I remember we were there at the same time!!!
The 6 week thing makes me really nervous. Tell them you lost/gained a bunch of weight and want to see how it looks just in case there are any MAJOR alterations that need to be done. Maybe that'll work.
