VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just so pissed off and I know you all would understand my venting!!!!!!!!

We originally invited 170 people to the wedding and had to guarantee 100 people for our wedding.

Our RSVP date is tomorrow and we're only at 70 people. More than that has said NO. My Dad's entire side of the family isn't coming. My Mom's side of the family is split down the middle - and yet all of them travelled 2 years ago my wedding weekend for my cousins wedding. This is absolute BULLSHI*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even with the handful of late RSVPs I'm still waiting on wouldn't be enough.

I just called my mother crying about this! We've resorted to inviting my entire administrative office to the wedding, all the dean's and support staff.

I don't want kid's at the wedding, and now we may just have to say to those coming to bring their kids!!!

Is this some sort of joke, cruelty that people want to put a bride through??? This is my only bridezillaish moment - everything else is going well!!!!!!

We did send out the B list 3 weeks ago and they're saying no! We've now invited 210 people to this wedding!

When in doubt, ask the LIW girls! They'll come through for you!

I totally feel your pain. The RSVPs and the subsequent stupidity of people have been my biggest stressors so far. I haven't had any problems with any of the vendors at all (knock on wood). It's the people that are supposed to care about FH and I that are driving me insane.

Awww!! I just want to give you these:

I'm so sorry!!! What's with your dad's side of the family???

I had some issues when I heard certain family members weren't coming to my shower... my mom was crying to her brothers since we go to EVERYTHING for everyone... it should really be that they come now that it's my turn to celebrate. They finally saw her point. Maybe you can talk to some of these 'no's that mean a lot to you and let them know how hurt you are by this??

I know exactly how you feel Betsy, almost all of Travis's family said no also.

I'm so sorry!!! It really isn't fair of your family to not make the trip, especially since it's for such a happy occasion. Don't let it get you down. The people who matter most will be the ones who attend your wedding.

If you cant meet the minimum, Holly's idea is great... or maybe you can negogiate with the hall to have them include something else??
