I spoke to Marc tonite and asked him about this story and the fact that some girls were having trouble reaching him. By the way, he answered the phone immediately I did not have to leave a message. I have full confidence in Marc and his videographer abilities. I know he is cheaper than other video companies but I decided to choose his company because I felt the quality was better, the package included everything and you can even help edit your video. I'm not letting this post change my decision.

the issue is not him returning phone calls the issue is he did'nt show up at the wedding and didn't send a replacement and failed to contact the bride and as of today he still has not contacted the bride and this bride will have her day in court. so good luck to you, hope he doesn't dissapoint you.

something about stacey27 - was pretty odd - like stacey27 asked her a a question and kit4 didnt like the sound of it -- i dunno, just seemed ODD for this board - maybe kit, you can shed some light on that? i think that's *part* of the reason you may be getting some negative reaction ...

I asked my sister who she used for her wedding and it turns out it was videomaker. We had no problems with him whatsoever, he returned all her calls, he was very non obtrusive(sp?) at the wedding and she picked up her video and loves it. I am sure kits friend was very unhappy about her experience I just wanted to let you know about another experience which was a good one.

Jennbaby, I think that Kit accidentally posted something in her profile that she meant to post on another thread to stacey. She did manage to post that reply on the other thread, so she was probably just having some trouble getting acclamated to the board and how to use it. It really wasn't a big deal.

Even though Mark from Videomaker has shown up and done a fine job at other weddings, I think that there was a serious problem at Kit's friend's wedding. She is posting a warning that this happened. No one has to change their vendor or rethink any decision.

Lets try not to rush to judgment. It seems like Kit was only tring to be helpful. And so far it doesn't seem like Mark from Deerpark has DENIED that this incident happened to any of the brides that were going to call him. I am not making any judgment on Mark because I have never dealth with him, but I also think we should not rush to judge Kit just because one of her first posts was a warning. I know I have read other posts from her, so if you do a search you will find other posts that have nothing to do with this guy. Also, I think she was trying to out Stacey as a vendor, which is inaccurate, but seems to imply she is a real bride!

Kit Thank you for your apology,and it has been accepted and forgotten about.Girls we have to stop rushing to judgement on things around here ,were not there to see or hear anything about what happen only what kit is saying and i am not doubting her, but keeping my opinions to my self till i see how this thing pans out.One girl said it a while ago we should not rush to judgement on here until we have all the facts.These vendors on here have lives ,and asume this is how they make a living and someone saying something bad about a vendor could be very damaging if it is NOT TRUE.Lets try to keep this as helping each other out. Isnt that what we are all here for.
