Anyone having a Vienese Hour? Is it worth the $$ because I am doing it. I don't know if it is a waste.

our hall threw in a mini-v for us, which i think is awesome....but if we could afford it...we'd probably do the v-hour

Hi - I'm getting married at the Watermill... They offer like 5 xtra deserts besides the cake and they are very ornate... I don't feel a need for a v hour. If anything I may add the chocolate fountain.
If anything add more at the cocktail hour -- or do what I'm doing, in addition to a favor, use your $ ona goodie bag, add things like chocolate, a cd sampler of all your fav songs, etc., exedrine for the hangover.... make it personal... sorry i can't give away all my ideas! hee hee hee!!

We're having a V Hour. At Floral Terrace their V Hour is insane. They have snow cone machines, cotton candy machines, chocolate fountains,etc.etc. We think it's worth it but to each their own.

I think you get plenty w/o it. Besides most people are drunk and stuffed by then anyway! Theyre looking for more drinks and to party IMO, not cookies etc.

A mini -vienese is included with our package and we are also getting the chocolate fountain..gotta have the fountain~its awesome!

I personally think its worth it.....We did it and we are getting tons of stuff. Its an amazing way to end the night and guests love it....This is what our viennese includes 44' Chocolate Fountain cherries, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, oranges, kiwi and pretzels

Hi! We are doing a vienese hour, but because the hall threw it in... I am not sure if we would have done it if it weren't.
I am a big proponent on not paying for extras if they are not needed, and if the couple doesn't want it....but if it is something that you guys want, then go for it.
It is yummy and all, but I have heard it depends on your guests. Would they leave before the hour because they have kids or are the tired type who would leave the party early, or would they appreciate the excuse to stay another hour?

we're doing a mini, because my recep ends at 1am anyway. We also got chocolate fondue added...its PLENTY of food.
