Anyone having a Vienese Hour? Is it worth the $$ because I am doing it. I don't know if it is a waste.

Re: Vienese Hour
I'm doing a full viennese hour as the 6th hour - that was the one thing I wanted & didn't care if people thought it was a waste of money (LOL)!
I LOVE YUMMY DESSERTS! Plus, I don't want the night to end & the extra hour is worth it for us.

Re: Vienese Hour
we're not, we added the fish boat at the cocktail hour instead. (it wa a toss up and we decided) we're having the cake served as a dessert trio, and pastries on each table.

Thumper... I used to work at the Watermill and their viennese hour is awesome.. soooo much food.. & guests never complain with a viennese hour.. if you have the $ then I'd say go for it. We're not doing one.. we're getting a mini one within our reception time but not a full extra hour.

Re: Vienese Hour
We are having a Viennese hour, but not adding an extra hour to our reception. They call it a Dessert Cafe and it will be set up away from the dance floor. So if people still want to dance, they dance. If they want to eat, they eat.

Re: Vienese Hour
We are not having one, I don't really care for it, and there is sooo much food already, and dessert, so I think it would be too much

Re: Vienese Hour
My family is all about dessert so we are having one. But the NRC does it in the cocktail room so it is not an extra hour. They threw in the full Vienese at half price, but we would have done it at full price anyway!

Re: Vienese Hour
we're having one. I think its worth it, its a little added fun and yummy desserts for your guests to enjoy and remember. If you add the extra hour also, your recep. has an extra hour to celebrate!!

Re: Vienese Hour
We are not having one. Money was the main reason why.
