I know knowone ever talks about vineyard caterers. So let's keep this thread up. When I first went to the vineyard I met with Bill. He sold me! Every place I went to was so pushy.

I agree I wish there was a Vineyard thread before my day.

MY Vineyard Caterers Wedding was a dream come true. Check out some of my pics in my album so you can see some of the shots that are on there grounds.

I've been engaged and booked with them for almost 2 years and there was never enough threads about the place.

I love it there. They are so layed back and accomodating.

i had gone to see it with fh... he took one look at my face and was like 'this is it, isn't it?' i then brought my mom back to see it (my parents are paying) and bill was like 'i don't think i even need to speak... your daughter is selling this place all on her own' LOL i LOVE it!!

hey... for those of you that got married there already... i am having votive placecards. i know they mentioned putting placecards on the piano in the foyer... think that will look okay?

Ladies, I'm glad you like this thread. THe Vineyard is amazing. I think votive candle placecards would be pretty and go with the ambiance of the place. We are putting our placecards in wine corks.

GREAT...im so glad someone started this! I agree, i get so excited every time i go out there. I cant wait to go next month to see how it will be for my wedding a year from now. How far in advance did you go or are going for the tasting? I heard the food is amazing...cant wait!

The votive candles idea is great.

We put the place cards in corks. We also used wine bottle favors through them.

Not sure if anyone knows this BUT

The Vineyard surrounding the place is used to make Jamesport wine. So I contacted them, told them why I needed the corks and they gave me over a hundred corks. SO I got them for free and it felt like it went with the setting.

All The Vineyard Brides take a look at my announcement in yesterday's Newsday.

I believe Bill told me that it's usually three months before the date. But don't quote me on that! Does anyone know if we need a runner if we have the ceremony outside. I thought that there were bricks so that we don't need it.

hmm, im guessing really soon since you're less than a month away, i would give them a call, i know you're supposed to pay the last installment the wed before the wedding.

Bill will get in touch with you around 3 weeks before, then you go in for the tasting and they give you a chart to do the seating and then you fax it over about a week before, so they'll have your count and seating chart
