I've been to the Bahamas twice and didn't like it either time. Have you looked at other places? There are many inexpensive islands to visit.

Donna, did you check out trip advisor? There are some reviews on various places on there- plenty of them are legitimate reviews . . .

It really does offer what we both want. FH is more of the fast placed tourist type of guy..think Disney world...he likes places that offer TONS to do, and as far as food costs, excursions..there are a lot to choose from and we are on our HM, we are brining plenty of spending money.

We are not really the quiet laid back resort people..we like the bustle of busy places.

I like that site a LOT, but the mixed reviews make me crazier then I'am..they are so mixed and I cant decide..lol

We are going to Riviera Maya Mexico and are staying ay the el dorado royale adults only spa resort. We are staying there for 12 days 11 nights in a top of the line suite for a very reasonable price. Everything is there- beaches, cities, historic sites, natural parks . . . It is breath taking

If you have truly decided on the bahamas, I know sandals has the new Royal Bahamian, don't know much about the prices . . .

have you thought about Dominican Republic? we have been there twice and just loved it, the resorts are beautiful, Punta Cana has wonderful beaches... most resorts have huge pools, people are great

something to consider

give it a try . . . I am not sure what your Fh's taste is, but it is 30 minutes south of Cancun, a ferry ride away from cozymel, and the city of playacar is 10, 15 minutes away . . . I think it has some fast paced areas and slower as well . . . you will have a great time wherever you go, after all it is your HONEYMOON
