Does anyone know the answer to this? Do you have to use the vows of your church? I am getting married in a methodist church, and I HATE the vows that are standard methodist vows.

you should be able to write your own, there are several books out there for inspiration and on other websites

Check with your clergy. Each religion or church may have its own rules about this.
