I can't even freakin type right now!! I am so fuckin' pissed off! To make a long story short my MOH just dropped out because her fuckin' fiance was pissed off that he isn't in the bridal party!! He is not close to George at all! W T F would make him think he is in the bridal party???? He's pissed off that she would have been walking down the aisle with my brother instead of him! I basically ripped her a new assshole and told her to have a nice life.
NOT TO MENTION I've known this girl over 10 years and haven't ordered my BM dresses yet because of her!! I could kill someone right now...everything falls in my lap last minute.
You would think for once in a lifetime people could put their own selffishness aside for 1 fuckin' day!!

Some friend! Better you find out now than later. Easier said than done...don't let this get to you. **** her! She's got massive balls to drop out on you like that...and besides, she needs to re-evalute her realtionshhip with her loser boyfriend. He needs to get a grip. Hang in there...don't let this petty stuff ruin what's going to be a beautiful day. :)

Irene, that is horrible. It's completely absurd. I couldn't even believe what I was reading. You have EVERY right to be this upset. I'm at a loss for words. I would be furious as well.

Irene.. Im home now. I read this right as I was leaving work and was like ***?? I felt the need to just reach out and give you a massive amount of hugs .
Your MOH is a piece of work, I swear. I personally have a very similar story, thats why this post really stood out. One of my bridesmaids (if you can recall) said she could not be in my bridal party because (and I quote) ' My fioncee couldn't bear the site of me walking down the aisle with another man... Besides that, He knew I would be partnered up with someone the whole entire day, so he didn't appreciate that idea' Mind you, this girl has been one of my best friends since 2nd grade. My own cousin dropped out of my bridal party because (and I quote again) 'I have two kids, and being that I wont allow anyone besides my own mom to watch them, I cant be in your wedding'
So I came to the conclusion.. This world has some winners in it and unfortunately we have to deal with it. Picking my bridal party (for me) has been nothing but a headache. I've had drama since day 1, so I know how you feel right now, and I know EXACTLY what your going through.
Just goes to show that in times like these, you find out who your true friends are, and for your MOH to pull a stunt like that, it shows that she really has absolutely no class.
It just amazes me because I always thought that it is such an honor to be in someones bridal party. Apparently, stories like this prove quite the opposite. Irene... I am so sorry.

You know what, forget her! like you just said, she was never there for you anyway. Hopefully one day, she will see that she was wrong, but you never know. SHe seems like one of those people who only thinks of herself. Her Fiance sounds like a real winner!! He would definitely be someone I would hate. He sounds like a real jealous loser.
Get one of your BM to be your MOH. Pick one that has been with you through all this planning, and really cares about you.
What matters at the end, is you and FH get married.

I feel your pain, my MOH (my older sister) isn't taking her part seriously and is always critizing what i'm doing choosing, etc.. its tough because no one cares about your day the way you will. Sorry you are going through this. Don't forget we're all here for you

Thanks Mel...I know what you're saying but there's absoultely no way I want anything to do with her. This was more along the lines of the straw that broke the camel's back than an isolated case. The funny part is I never bothered anyone with the wedding planning. I always considered it a burden for others b/c I know it's more important to me. I only asked the girl for 3 things.
1. Be my MOH (that's out the window) 2. Get a dress (5 months to go...No Dress) 3. I DON'T want a Bacholorette party (she was planning one anyway)
I'm just so over her at this point. Filakia right back at ya and thanks.

What a horrible thing for such a 'good friend' to do to another. Her excuse is so lame, she should be embarassed to admit it. Honestly.
Your MOH should be just that - HONORED. Eaier said than done, I'm sure any one of your real friends (or even family) would sympathize with what happened and be happy to take her spot. Don't let someone like this ruin your Day!
And....if she is engaged, are you her MOH? If so, is your FH his BM?
