Waited too long?

Waited too long?

So my wedding is 4 months away and I still don't have hair, makeup or shoes. I just ordered my veil & headpiece today, so at least that is done.

Do you think I waited too long?

You'll be totally fine. I haven't done hair and makeup yet - I would just start looking around to see who's available, but if the popular ones aren't - there's always local folks you can reach out to - so I wouldn't stress it. If that's all you have left especially I have about 10000 other things. Hah.

You'll be fine. My wedding is 2.5 months away and i just ordered shoes (well i had some before, but decided to change them last week). I also only booked Limos and photobooth yesterday. Just get on it soon. Don't wait until a month before, because you will be bsuy enough as it is.

NO WAY! You are TOTALLY ok! I didn't buy my shoes until about a month and a half before the wedding. My hair girl I didn't find until a couple months before as well. I booked makeup ahead of time but that's only because I booked her at my SIL's wedding.

shoes - Zappos (quick delivery and free shipping both ways)

Hair - Bella Sposa in Franklin Square (Teresa works out of her house but she's AWESOME - google her)

Makeup - Teresa does make up too but I didn't use her, I used Marie Katz, she's a vendor on here and AMAZING!!!!

I planned my entire wedding in 4 months, so you will be fine. Just take it one step at a time and don't panic.

Check out Roseanna Amador for hair and Charles Douglas or Anne DeMarco from ROUGE NYC for makeup. I'm biased but they're amazing. They work together A LOT...which was nice because they put together a nice day-of schedule.

PS - this is for services where they come to you. We got ready at my parent's house.

Technically, I booked my MUA the week of the wedding, but that's because I'm the biggest procrastinator. You still have time but I'd get started, especially on shoes since you'll need them for fittings which usually start 1.5-2 months out from the wedding. Good luck!!

Check out Sandra Baldini and Stacey Doolan of About Face Artistry.

If you want the hair and makeup people that are spoken about on here than probably yes.. but there are awesome hair and makeup people at salons in the neighborhood.. i am doing that instead so my girls can get ready with me!
