Did any of you get cake toppers or is the Watermill supplying flowers for the cake (included in the price?)? Thanks!
The flowers provided by the WM costs extra. The simplest they offer is a cascading flower arrangement down one side of the cake for $175, and price goes up to $300.
After seeing that , I am having my florist do it for $100.

Re: WATERMILL thread
Me too! We booked the Watermill back in December, and it seemed like our wedding was so far away...now it's only 5 1/2 months! What really makes me excited is seeing all the awesome reviews from the Watermill brides who were recently married there.

Re: WATERMILL thread
I just went through my menu selection a few weeks ago with Bruce. I'm swamped with work so I haven't been on here much. All went well. I'll post more detail in my review.

Re: WATERMILL thread
I just did mine a couple of weeks ago. They said the same thing to me. It's really quick, if you know what you want already. I just had to pick out our lines and cake.

My FH travels a lot for business and I needed to make menus so we did ours almost 8 weeks before the wedding. May 12 (?) for July 4th wedding.

Re: WATERMILL thread
I went to the BB&B in E. Northport on Jericho Trpk (the one that has the drug store in it). They have a lot of trial size items and from that I made up bathroom baskets.
Just be forewarned you can spend a pretty penny on them. I didn't go crazy and I still spent about $60 for both baskets. It's the little things that add up.

Since you will be there the day after me....I can leave the actual baskets for you if you want to bring the stuff to fill them. FM if u want them.

fyi- i passed the watermill last week and they were putting the decorations up outside- you know all of those lights and things!
I was told that they have to do this...so the trees won't die and dry out in the summer

Re: WATERMILL thread
I just went to select the menu, and I am booked in the aster room. Some one asked what color are my flowers, I chose to do white with a little pastel pink, because their are so many colors in the room already. I thought that it looked elegant.
