Wax in hair HELP!!

ok well I am dumb and went to move this candle ting I have. I put melts on it and they burn from the light its nice but anyway..... when I moved it i some how got the wire caught and well the whole thing flipped over with hot wax in it and well it went all over my hair, and back. I am fine but its all in my hair.

I put my head under hot water 2 times and its still there! I am so mad I just got my haired highlighted yesterday and it looked so nice and I am having people over and now I dont know what to do.

Anyone know how to get it out????

My friend said to use my falt iron but umm i dont want to burn my hair.
