We all say we want nice weather - but WHY (just curious)

So we all say we want nice weather, but I was curious if you had to pick one reason why you wanted it to be nice, what would it be....

Yep totally happened to me, it didnt rain for the wedding or pics but all morning before, so the grass was wet and my dress, the inside of my train and shoes got dirty.

But the main reason I didnt want rain was becuase of my Dove Release. In the end the weather held out and atleast it wasnt hot and humid.

I got married on the coldest day of this winter. I could care less about the temperature because everything was happening indoors (on location) anyway - getting ready, the pictures, the ceremony, the CH, etc.

MY fear was that people would be able to get there safely as the weekend before, we had a snowstorm that could have paralyzed the area. Where I come from rain is good luck on a wedding day, but snow is a nightmare.

I didn't want to have to worry about weather, so nothing about my wedding day was weather dependent. But I wanted to good weather so that everyone would get there and back safely. As it turns out, I had a GORGEOUS day, and no plans for outdoor pictures . Silly me!

we have an outdoor cocktail hour, and we picked wm in part because of the gardens for pics.....wm gave us a backup location for the ch, and they have a room for pics if it rains, but I really want it outside. I lucked out with the weather, because weather.com is predicting 80 and sunny!!!

I really wanted to take pictures on the grounds of our hall, since it was on a golf course, I'd love some of the photo ops there, BUT since it did rain, I know can't imagine not having the umbrella pics! We didn't get to go all the way out but hey, you make do, and I love my rainy shots a lot.

had it rained on my wedding day, I would have not been able to have pictures taken on the gorgeous ground of my RH for 3 hours. those pics are my absolute favorites from the wedding.

kinda makes me feel better about not getting a video (which I regret now). at least I have all those gorgeous outdoor pics in the peak of foliage
