Debbie-First off, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have offered my support and wishes earlier but I only recently joined this board. I don't know if I could have amswered and ???'s being i'm a critical care nurse. Anyway, reading all these posts made me actually cry to think of all the stupid little things me and FH are fighting over about our wedding day trying to be 'perfect'. I know in my heart it will be perfect because my mom fought cancer and won and will be walking me down the aisle w/ my dad that day. Anyway, your family will be in my thoughts.

Debbie, I was married February 02 and my husband's brother died last November. We would have done anything to have him at our wedding. I know that he was with us and looking down on us though. I am sorry for your loss

Oh Debbie....I'm sorry. I can imagine how hard this is on both of you. He will be smiling down on you both that day. That you can count on.

As for it putting things in perspective, I understand.
You will find a good way to honor him at your wedding. This will help a lot of people. He will be missed that day but will not be forgotten and will be there with you through the whole thing.

Debbie, I just read your update, and I am so so sorry for your loss.
I know how hard this will be for you and FH and family, keep strong for each other, keep loving each other, and you will both get through this.
Your FBIL will always be in your hearts, and I'm sure you will find a very tasteful and honorable way to remember him during your wedding.
