My parents set a budget but I think it's just for wedding stuff. I don't think the e-party was included. Not sure if the shower will be. I think I still have a lot left to work with. They've been extremely generous and I'm very appreciative of that!
I wanted to stay between 10 and 15k but I don't think that's going to happen. My highest is 20K because we are paying for it mainly on our own. My mom is going to pay for my dress and we are not doing a honeymoon right away. My e-party my parents close friends are throwing a bbq/party for us as an engagement gift and they are giving me the money for the wedding night hotel. I'm not going to do limos and looking into alot of DIY's.
I def. have on because my father is paying for some of the RH, and me and FH are paying for the rest...we had to make a budget, so we are def. sticking to it, so far so good.
we're trying to be frugal. the budget is sort of a juggling act.

Our goal was 20K but the reality was that we thought it might hit 30K. We're nearly there if you count my dress, and we still have not booked flowers or church, so now the budget is 35 . . . but that's it!!! hehe.
