Wedding Cake Filling/Icing/Flavors?

Any ideas on what kind of cake you will be having- what kind of icing, whip cream, butter cream and what filling?

I would love a red velvet cake but not sure my guests would

i want to go for a cake tasting...FH has been looking foward to that part of the wedding since we got engaged...do you really go for cake tastings?

I'm not sure- maybe strawberry shortcake? Can you do that? That's FH's favorite.

Now ice cream cake would be AWESOME!!!! When I was younger, my ex worked at Carvel and he used to give me ice cream cake with extra chocolate crunchies in a cup. YUM!

We are doing Napolean cake because it's delicioussssssssss at Russo's. As far as the icing, I have no clue????

I am getting a red velvet cake regardless of whether or not my guests will like it. I don't like cake in general, so I'd like to get one that I know I'll actually eat.
