Wedding gifts... like actual gifts

Like something off their registry. Anyone recieve any at their wedding?

my friend received a few actual non-cash gifts at her wedding ... i think OOT people are more likely to give them

we had 3 gifts brought to the wedding and then 1 guest had a gift sent to our house off the registry

We got one-I didn't have a registry, but someone bought us personalized toasting flutes. We had flutes already, but I still thought it was sweet.

We were sent 1 gift off our registry for the wedding. But I think they also gave us an envelope.

I have a few people that have told me already that they were going to get me gift off my registry and its fine with me.

a few. out-of-towners. a few people also gave a sentimental gift along with $$$.

one gave a lasagna turner...

We've gotten a few gifts off registry from OOTers, oh and 1 gift from 4 people coming to wedding was 2 KALEIDOSCOPES. Yep.

I wanted to do this too since all of FH's guest are OOT'ers but then what if they give you something that you really don't want and it wasn't on your registry because you don't have one anymore? If I leave the registry and they buy something from BBB then I can just return it for the cash anyway right?

I am expecting some. I know several people who are tight on funds and I would rather get something off my registry rather then something I can't use.

We got a few at both receptions. Most people that bought off our registry just had the gifts shipped to us though.

I'd say at each reception, we had about 6 or 8 physical gifts; the rest were cards.
