wedding is so far away and already stressing

hey everyone.... i know my wedding is going to be so big (500+) people. So I have to same money on every single thing possible so I want to book or choose everything so i'm not rushing and paying ridiculous amounts at the end... Eitherway - if anyone found great deals while you guys were planning (flowers, photographer, hair stylist etc)... PLEASE let me know!! I would be so grateful!

Happy Planning Everyone!!

congrats!! and welcome!!

i still think you have plenty of time.. the prices really dont change if you book later on.. i am planning a wedding in 3 months, and the prices were the same.

i booked vinny from high voltage.. very reasonable prices!! he is a LIW vendor
and i booked Velvet Studios
you can always try and search for all the vendors and get all sorts of feedback.. thats what i did to narrow down my list of vendors

Congrats on your engagement!

500? bless you. I think it would drive me insane.

FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves so we decided to go with an afternoon wedding instead of an evening wedding. that saves us $45pp.

PS...come join the 09 boards!

the best thing to do is searching in here.. just go through the LIW vendors, and just search them.. and make a few appts. with each and you will find the best one for you!!

i am so happy about the vendors i chose, i just booked burtons, and im not crazy at all about spending so much on flowers... Burton's are veryyyyyyy reasonable in price.. i wanted to splurge more on the photographer. and the hall

My friend said she saved lots of money by booking on labor day (your date says sept. that's why I offered). Or choose another off day or time: Friday night, Saturday during the day, sunday day or evening...

Book basic packages... basic photo/video/DJ. You can make albums yourself.

Go with a DJ instead of a band.

Low CPs instead of high CPs.

Shop around and negotiate.

Many brides can offer great suggestions for budget friendly vendors. Read the bride's review board... many great reviews so at least you can get the most for your money.

If you are having such a large wedding, I would suggest a planner. The planner will help with everything and probably get you the most for your money.

Since you're having so many guests, you would definitely save a lot by having your wedding on a Friday night or a Sunday.
