Wish I had a pic. I will work on that. But I will bring it to Umbertos to show you. This way you can decide for yourself if you like it or not. If you don't want to use it I will not be hurt!!!Afterall there is only one Martha Stewart and I am not her!!!

here is a pic of the birdcage I used, I unfortunately I didn't take a pic of it before I hung it up as a planter after my wedding! I bought it in a craft store for about 20$, it was metal, painted it white and put the tulle on. I know some people think it;s tacky to use one, but others can say walking around collecting cards is tacky too. My guests loved it, because I had it night next to the placecard table, and they didn't have to walk around with their cards all night. I still made sure to try and say to everyone. believe me, on your wedding night, it goes so so fast, and you should be out there dancing and having fun, not 'making the rounds' to collect cards! No offense to anyone!

my sister wrapped up a box and made it look like a present...then cut a slit in the top...right underneath the ribbon...It sat on our gift table and blended right in...our bridal asst would come and get any envelopes that we had and put it in there for us...
It worked out really well...

Another idea.. .my mom has made these for a couple of brides: it's a large clear acrylic box that is covered in flat lace and ribbon. . .it's secure it's hard to get into unless you know what you are doing. I know it sounds weird and possibly tacky
but it's actually quite beautiful! My friend used one and it blended in on her front table

A simple idea is to decorate a pretty basket and use that to hold your envelopes. That won't be tacky...I'm going to keep that in mind for myself actually!
