wedding nite suite
I know its along ways off but Ive been thinking about where to spend our wedding nightWe need 2 reg rooms for thursday night (thanksgiving) cause our families will be packed up so the bride and groom get booted
Wedding nite (fri nite) we need a nicer but not extravagant room to basically just sleep in before we leave early sat am for our HM

Re: wedding nite suite
We are staying in a room at De Seversky. I have heard good things about the Wyngate Inn in Garden City. Nice room and not too expensive. Garden City hotel is so expensive and you are only in there for a few hours.

FH booked us a room there for our wedding nite...its 2&change...but he didnt take the bridal suite, i thinkt he king suite, which is one notch below it.
i told him not to bother with the bridal suite, after all their all suites!

IN NO WAY AM I trying to be a spoilsport -- but in reading recent bridal reviews, it seems like often paying the extra for bridal packages on these rooms is a waste. Often the rooms you get are the smae and you get like chocolate or something small. Since some of the HM packages are like an extra couple hundred bucks, something to keep in mind if you are only there for a few hours of sleep before your HM.

Re: wedding nite suite
Our bedroom will be our wedding night suite (to save $). I would suggest finding out the difference betweeen a regular suite and a bridal suite. If it's not much difference, book the regular and confirm about a week before and mention it is your wedding night. We did that for a friend and they got the same deals tossed in!

I know some places are crazy but the package we're getting is a little less than 100 bucks more than a regular room rate (if we get the queen)
This is what we're getting...
Honeymoon Package #2
This package includes one of our Executive Rooms with a king size bed. Upon arrival, the Honeymoon Couple will receive a fruit and cheese plate, bottle of Champagne and fresh flowers. The following morning Continental Breakfast is served in our Library Lounge or through room service. The package price is $250.00 per night plus tax.
I want to feel like a queen, even if it's only for a few hours...I'm going to have them set up the room with candles and rose petals before we get there...I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
ets: you only have one wedding night and i want to make it last as long as possible....

Re: wedding nite suite
We get a complementary room at East Wind with our wedding so that is where we are staying. For you, I would recommend either the Garden City Hotel or the Inn at Fox Hollow. They are both nice and fairly close.Welcome New Vendors
