Cry packs...I'm sorry, and no offense to anyone, but that is so stupid...I've never been to a wedding where guests have been frantically seeking out a tissue due to the overflow of tears of joy. Maybe MOB or MOG but I definitely don't think anybody besides them will benefit from a kleenex in an envelope! LOL

hahaha we aren't ding those either. nothing wrong with them just not my style. we aren'y doing the garter or bok toss either.

I'm definitely NOT doing the I Do letters. I'm sorry, but I really just don't see the point of a couple of painted wood letters on the card table. Didn't we already say I do during the ceremony?

I'm also not doing cry packs, petal cones or chocolate fountain.

7. No photo of the BM lifting up their dress and showing their leg......I can't stand that pose and it's way overdone IMO

8. We didn't skip the CH.....we enjoyed every minute of it -- also greeted all the guests during that time so we could enjoy the reception...

here is what i can think of right now

absoulutely NO DIYs - i am too much of a perfectionist - i would end up in tears and i am also not that creative! everything will be done for me from addressing the envelopes to wrapping the favors

No bridal arch thing when you walk into the reception
i am NOT missing a SECOND of my cocktail hour
NO cake smashing
no unity candle
no sand ceremony
no 'other' picture location - it will be too cold!
no save the dates
no e party ( just a nice family dinner)

trying to figure out a way to NOT get introduced into the reception . . . i kind of just want to start dancing our first dance and thats it - i dont need all the theatrics. BUT on the other hand i would like to announce my parents and ILs in some way SO i may be forced to do it but it will be as quick and painless as possible

ummmm i think thats all? my mom calls my wedding the 'boring wedding'

ETA: no give aways from the DJ - no talking from the DJ except for introductions and announcements ( as in absolutely 'COME ON PARTY PEOPLE' i will vomit on my dress)

No chicken dance/macerena/electric slide - maybe a couple of other party songs but definitely not those
No garter toss (probably)
NO putting the garter on the girl who caught the bo-k (if we end up doing that at all)
No 'I DO' letters
No sand ceremony
No cake smashing
No bathroom basket
No alternate picture location (unless you count the pictures on the church grounds)

The other stuff that you girls mentioned is stuff I'm either still debating or definitely doing. Definitely doing the unity candle but not sure about the slipper basket yet. . .

probably other things too, but I can't think of them right now!
