Just ignore if you don't want to read this... I have tried and failed WW now 6 times. I checked my bank balance yesterday and saw that WW had put through the online service (which I had approved and asked them for etc) and I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it one last go. ON top of that Fergie was on Larry King Live last night and she looks friggin fabulous...another sign.
So I need lots of support!!! Let's hang in there together. I'm getting married 9-6-03, so the way I figure it, I have about 34 weeks or so to lose 25-40 lbs, which can be done! HELP ME GIRLS!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Rach - I just joined WW as well online. I have stuck with it for 3 days. I am a bit hungry but I figure the first week is the hardest. Once you learn how many points your favorite foods are it becomes easier to work with. The online system helps alot b/c it has points tracker, calculators, meal plans etc.

First of all...
Call WW and tell them to credit you back your $$...
I am HATING all of these scams these days in regards to people or companies taking $$ without autorization. (sp)
Second.. Why do you have to do WW..
Why can't you just CUT out all carbs and do cardio.. Drink atleast a gallon of water a day.. You will lose weight....
I am the MOST vain girl you know about weight so I am here with all my diet tips if you want them!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Hi Girls! Can I get in on this! I joined Monday night. I've been on it before and lost about 12lbs then that got to my head and now I've gained it back and more! I need to lose about 20-25lbs!! I was sick when I got weighed and I saw the number!!
I think if we all stick together, we can succeed!!!

I'm a total points pro...my biggest weakness is not journaling and pretending that I didn't just have x amount of points. Will pretend that I didn't just eat a brownie or an extra piece of cheese. I know how many points are in said offending food, I just conveniently 'forget' that I ate it. Then I figure that I've blown it already, so why not just blow the whole day! With a filet smothered in blue cheese with baked potatoes and tw glasses of wine?

Theresa - LOL! I'm saying I DID approve the charge...they didn't just take it. And lo carbs works really well for a lot of people, but I just can't cut them out entirely. I will definitely modify the carb thing, but I can't cut them out altogether....

Re: Weight Watchers...again
I just joined on Saturday, too!!!!!!!! Of course Sunday I got a horrible cold, so I've given myself a free ride to get anything. The scale is not going to be good to me. I signed up for the actual meetings - I'm hoping the disapproving look from the WW gal will motivate me!!!!! I was afraid the online would be too easy to cheat!
Best of luck ladies!!!!!!
And drink that H2O!!!!!

LOL Thrilled I do the same thing! It's so convient to forget about the cookies I had that someone brought to work or downgrade the amount of something I ate so I don't feel like I went over my points! I'm trying to work hard though so I can look a little better by summer, and don't worry girls after you get the idea of what is a lot of points, WW is easy!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Listen...I lost 15 pounds on WW and I really think its the best way to lose. Cutting out carbs all together is just not healthy. You body needs carbs to burn energy. I am an advocate of WW simply because they teach you how to eat balanced meals.

Re: Weight Watchers...again
so far so good with the WW for Brian and I. He's really been strict on the foods and the points. He cooks us dinner and watches our intake, and makes sure I have my snack bags for work and my lunch.
it takes 21 days for something to become a habit. Just stick to it, you'll do fine

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Thrilled, I just joined WW too, and its really hard for me as well, mostly b/c I tend to eat big meals twice a day, and overeat my pts. Yesterday, I did well, was within my points and even exercised... And today, I ate a smaller breakfast (only one slice of bread with peanut butter instead of my usual 2) and a coffee.

Re: Weight Watchers...again
OK I need to join this thread.... I have procrastinated about joining - but I have a journal, and I keep points
Support is the best way to do this......
Theresa Obviously your way works for you, but there are some people who prefer not to approach weight loss by lowering or eliminating carbs. WW does provide success to those who follow the guidelines, and it allows you to eat a well balanced diet of all food groups. Additionally, I do not think Thrilled is complaining that her account was erroneously debited.
Of course exercise is an important part, as too is water
This thread appears to be the start of a support group for WW, and I am all for that.

Interesting Chippa, 21 days for something to become a habit. I never knew that! Thanks! It's amazing what you can learn!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
I am having a hard time w. staying withing points range, this is the first week and I am getting better, but it can be discouraging. I work out, but cannot apply excersize points yet. I dont even eat bad food, but I had a turkey sandwich on wheat w. cheese and lettuce and it came out to like 6 points alone . I am going to stick with it, but the thing that has been really making a difference for me is working out, I have gone down a size and reshaped my body.

I WISH I could get myself motivated to work-out! I was doing so good and then the holidays came I am going to stick to this WW, lose a few pounds then start working out again!
