Just ignore if you don't want to read this... I have tried and failed WW now 6 times. I checked my bank balance yesterday and saw that WW had put through the online service (which I had approved and asked them for etc) and I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it one last go. ON top of that Fergie was on Larry King Live last night and she looks friggin fabulous...another sign.
So I need lots of support!!! Let's hang in there together. I'm getting married 9-6-03, so the way I figure it, I have about 34 weeks or so to lose 25-40 lbs, which can be done! HELP ME GIRLS!

Or when she says- I treat my body like a brownstone... or, I have a cook, a cleaner, a wardrobe assistant- all me. I love her- she makes it fun to go to meeting.

Take small servings... Sorry I'm not good at that. Eat ALL of the vegetables (if any) and skimp a little on the stuff you know is BAD! Good luck!

Here's another tip, I heard if you talk more while eating you tend to eat less. Obviously, because it's rude to talk with food in your mouth. So what he/she'll think you're a chatter box, but hey, what can ya do?
Also, drink water as you eat... and eat SLOW!

Yes- Here I go Sage:
Tell yourself over and over that you had all the (insert intended cheating food here) in the world, you've tasted it 100 times..... Did any of it ever taste as good as being thin???
Also, another one: If you are going out fcor Italian: It is better to wear Armani than Ronzoni... Hee hee hee

Sassy - I am quite sure that Jackie is the character I referred to an my earlier post! I liked her but thought she was a bit strange. And yes, there is a whiner in every meeting...

Sage, don't cheat, but watch what you eat (i.e. even if you eat more that you want you, be honest with yourself about it, even if it means you'll feel guilty).
Ask for a salad without a dressing or dressing on the side; grilled chicken is almost always a safe choice, just watch the amounts, take small forfulls, order type of fish that has bones, by the time you're done taking them out its time to go back to work, ask for steamed veggies on the side instead of a big carbo side dish, if you order shrimp, the portion size given is usually smaller.
What type of restaurant are we talkign here cuisine wise?

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Anyone know points for lemon lime coriander sauce? How about fennel?
For lunch i had today Chicken in that sauce above (didn't look too oily) veggies - zuchinni/squash/carrots a bit of fennel - tried it for the first time and liked it. I have to give credit to Claud for mentioning it on the newlywed board. So this came up to a total of 3-5 points, depending on what sauce will end up being and how much fennel is worth.
Then a large apple =2pts and I finished the chips - 2pts
So, total of 7-9 points and 13-15 for the day

Thrilled, miss a day, miss a lot! I'm so in! I don't go to meetings (although I should) but I do follow WW. I do feel that they teach you how to balance and make sure your body is getting enough nutrients etc..
I want to loose about 20 as well! So, we're all in the same boat! What kind of better support!!!!!! WATER! That's what helps me more. I did cut back on carbs, because they go straight to my A*S! Lord knows that doesn't need to get any bigger!
Exercise, even if it's walking an extra block or 2 a day- I'm trying!!!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
i had my lean cuisine and some carrots. I didnt like the lean cuisine too much. it tasted a little too peppery. but oh well, you learn by trying. so i know i dont like this one in particular. I have another lean cuisine at home and 2 smart ones at home. Tomorrow will be another lean cuisine for lunch. I'll the smart ones over the weekend.
I figure the ones i like best I will stock up on for lunch at work.

I had sushi for lunch - was craving it big-time so went ahead and did it. Without boring you with the specifics I'll tell you that it came out around 10 pts and was heavenly! I must have needed some protein.....I have 11.5 left for the day!

Re: Weight Watchers...again
Today is going so great for me. I only ate 8 points so far and do not feel hungry at all, although I need to drink some water.
I had a chocolate muffin from WW for breaksfast 3pts Santa Fe style rice and beans from WW for lunch 5 pts
Hopefully I can get through the rest of the day without eating too many points!
