Weight Watchers...again

Original post by Thrilled

Just ignore if you don't want to read this...
I have tried and failed WW now 6 times. I checked my bank balance yesterday and saw that WW had put through the online service (which I had approved and asked them for etc) and I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it one last go. ON top of that Fergie was on Larry King Live last night and she looks friggin fabulous...another sign.

So I need lots of support!!! Let's hang in there together. I'm getting married 9-6-03, so the way I figure it, I have about 34 weeks or so to lose 25-40 lbs, which can be done! HELP ME GIRLS!

I;ve got 16.5 left for today plus 3 banked, so I am going to have pasta tonight with a couple of glasses of wine! I will spray the pasta with olive oil (cuts WAAAAAY back on pts), give it a little parmesan and Italian seasoning and Bob's yer uncle.

I have just decided that Melissa gets a giant platter of fires with melted mozarella and a side of gravy for her wedding present.

OK, I have to revise my intro

Hi, my name is Adrienne and I am addicted to pasta, choclate, michelob light beer, nachos, anything with cheese in it, Onyx (my dog), LI weddings, procrastinating wedding planning, home made cookies-OK, all baked goods, and Berringer White Zinfendel.

(yes, real name is Adrienne, hmi are the initials of the company I work for. SOO lame, but when I started posting I had no idea I would become addicted, and could not change my cheesy login name)

It should give you good memories when you sign in with Sages name. My login makes me think of my job, which I dont really like.

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I was very bad this weekend We had company over to watch the Jets game, and I scarfed down pizza, chips and beer like it was going out of style! It was hard to forgive myself and start again this morning. I
have been good today, breakfast was oatmeal (3 pts) w. 1/2 box of raisins (1 pt) and 1/2 cup skim milk (1 pt). Lunch is lowfat tuna (4 pts) on a pita (2 pts). I am at 11 points so far, holding my own!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

Good girl Thrilled! I stayed on the points too, it was tough though, because I really wanted the taco dip and quesadillas FH was chowing down on yesterday! Instead I had a bag of 94% fat free popcorn with tobasco sauce (i know I am weird) but the hotness FORCES me to drink water!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

Thrilled and OctBride03 - you guys should be proud....GOOD JOB!!!
I wasn't soooo bad this weekend, but we were in the city with friends on Sat. night and had dinner at Sparks Steak House....there isn't much that's healthy on the menu. I had Filet Mignon and it was soooo good!~
But I feel terribly guilty.....
I gained at my weigh in and I wish I could take it all back.
I am feeling good this morning though and am sticking to the plan.

Breakfast - WW smoothie - 2pts.
1/2 Banana - 1pt.
Coffee with skim - 1pt.

Lunch - WW 2pt. bar
1 fat free polly-o string cheese - 1pt.
9 guiltless gourmet chips - 1pt.

Since I am negative points - I need to make it all up - that's what my numbers are so low~

Re: Weight Watchers...again

Thanks Sage!

I was wondering why you seem to be starving yourself today!

I had a breakfast shake - 3pts
Cereal bar - 3pts

Lunch:
Salad for about 6 pts (I can't seem to resist those certain things)

Snack - Soy Chips (didn't eat it yet) 2pts

hmm... 14 pts already! SHEESH! Oh well, I go right to my weigh in tonight, so by time I get home I'll probably just have popcorn and call it a night!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I stayed within pts today but have been vaguely nauseous and queasy all day I normally love green vegetables (broccoli, spinach etc) but the thought of eating any today made me queasy. Came home feeling 'off' and ate some English muffin toast and some soup but my heart wasn't in it. I just don't feel right.

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I'm sorry Thrilled. I hope you are feeling better by now. Maybe your body is not used to a different type of diet. That is normal.

I hope you're feeling better.

Re: Weight Watchers...again

Hi Lauren - I felt a little better once the food settled and I slept just fine. I think I was just really run down and low-energy. I feel fine today and am once again able to think about leafy green veggies without getting sick. I also agree with you that my body is probably adjusting to the new way of eating. My skin has been reacting a little too - some odd breakouts, but the skin does look a little clearer!

I'm glad you're feeling better Rachel! And leafy greens are good foods again!
