Weight Watchers...again

Original post by Thrilled

Just ignore if you don't want to read this...
I have tried and failed WW now 6 times. I checked my bank balance yesterday and saw that WW had put through the online service (which I had approved and asked them for etc) and I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it one last go. ON top of that Fergie was on Larry King Live last night and she looks friggin fabulous...another sign.

So I need lots of support!!! Let's hang in there together. I'm getting married 9-6-03, so the way I figure it, I have about 34 weeks or so to lose 25-40 lbs, which can be done! HELP ME GIRLS!

Thanks.

Hey, I just had an idea and posted it into another thread, but what do you guys (gals) think about seeing if LIW would set up a separate board for us dieting or on WW, so we can track our progress/ask about points/vent our frustrations/etc without having to scroll through 5+ pages of one thread each time. It seems to me like there would be enough interest...

Just a thought!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

WOW! I joined last Saturday. I'm struggling . . .and will be FRANTIC to get on that scale this weekend.

The only thing that I don't really enjoy are the meetings. They are extremely corny. I would much rather get my support from my favorite online bridal community. YOU GUYS!! **sniff, sniff . . .wiping a tear**

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I will have been on it for a week tomorrow and although, I have not weighed myself, I am totally sticking to it and can't tell you how much better I feel... My dad said I looked a little thinner....

One thing I like- I enjoy posting what I am eating throughout the day on this... It keeps me in control, in check, and knowing you guys are doing it seems to urge me to keep up with the Joneses.... So to speak....

Sorry so long but today I had: A pudding and coffee for breakfast (4 points), banana, (2 points) and a diet tuna sandwich for lunch (4 points)--- total 10 points.....

New fun low point food! Glenny's soy chips. 1 pt per serving, 2 servings per bag. I'm psyched! They're really good too!

Edited to say Congrats Marissa!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

So glad this post was started.....I joined WW on 12/28 and after my first weigh-in I lost 2.3 lbs!!!!
YIPPPEEEE

It is so hard and my weaknesses are salty foods....I can pass up chocolate any day, but put a burger in front of me and I'm toast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can all motivate each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am only at 8 pts for the day so far so I can splurge a little on dinner!

What about you girls?

Chippa, I don't know how you do it You're a real trooper, seriously!!! As you can see, I can't eat more than 3 pts tonight, b/c I am up to 20 now.

I think I'll be snacking on broccoli later, when I get home!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I already had 12 points today - so I have 8-13 left for dinner and a snack. Wahoo!!! Yesterday I was bad (FMIL gave FI a bag of M&M's ) - so I'm hoping to fall a little under my points today.

Stay strong ladies!!!!

YIPEE! Congratulations Sage!

I did better yesterday with my points. I will not go over today, but already have 14 pts. I guess I'm not going to have a big dinner.

But I saved points yesterday! I'm REALLY trying to stick with this!

Congrats again!

Re: Weight Watchers...again

I eat low point foods during the day so i can eat a nice big dinner. For breakfast I have a special k cereal bar, some fruit and water. Lunch is tuna with melba toast, and celery. i'll eat a pear during the day or 2 clementines. I try not to go over 10 points during the day so i can have a big dinner and my smartones flying saucer to cap off the day.

Re: Weight Watchers...again

Alina -
I just HATE celery - I try to like it, but I can't.....
How many pts. is peanut butter? I love peanut butter!!!!!!!!!!

Fruit is a good way to snack and when I am really craving I gulp down as much water as I possibly can without getting sick...lol

I am really giving this my best....

Let's keep each other in check with our pts. range!
