I received a reply card back from my cousin. I sent the invite to: Jane Smith & Guest.
She returned the card and wrote the following: On the M_________ line she wrote 'Jane Smith and obviously no guest' Underneith where it said Accepts/Regrets, she crossed off Regrets and wrote 'I don't want to be there'
Now keep in mind she is 37 years old and not a teenager, we haven't spoken since my grandmothers funeral 1 1/2 years ago, and before that it was along time. I have not idea why she is so nasty.

No she is not coming. To be honest, she and her mother and sister are not nice people. I only invited them to make peace in the family. At my sister's wedding they sat there making catty remarks the entire night.
I am thrilled they are not coming. Yesterday was the RSVP due date and their mother has even bothered to send hers in. I took the high road and invited them. I left a pleasant message for my Aunt today to see if she will be joining us, and will completely ignore my cousin's note. It would make her so happy if she knew she caused me any stress or anger.
Besides, my mother got a good laugh over it.
Not Drugs Sunny, I think just bitter and jealous (of what I have never been sure).

Thank goodness she politely declined. *SARCASM* OMG.... You should send her a mock bridal boquet with a huge good luck note pinned to it. No wonder she is single!!!!

i'd ignor her. obviously she doesn't want to come, so the hell with her! She went out of her way to make you feel bad, so why make yourself sick over her? Better off that she's not there! Obviously she's not mature enough for you.

sparkette I could only hope one of my fiances cousins will do that. We're not inviting guests to the three cousins since were not close to them, Im hoping they dont show!!
