Well... I've got some news... (No baby yet!)

I haven't decided if it's good or bad. I went to the Dr. today for my sonogram. My baby weighs in at 9lbs., 13oz. I have been scheduled for a C-section for this coming Monday at 8:00am. AAAAAaaaaaaahhh!!! I am so scared, nervous, etc. I wasn't expecting this at my appointment today. My DH came in for the sono but then had to go back to work, so when they told me that I should have a C-section, and then did all this scheduling I was by myself. I got tears in my eyes. I just have never been in the hospital before. I'm so scared of surgery, you know! After my doctor's appt, I had to go right to the hospital and register, and get tests done. I can't believe he'll be here Monday morning. I'm so nervous about that too! I don't know how to feel. The only thing I know is I'm not excited at this point, and I feel bad about that, but I can't help it. Anyway... I just wanted to let you girls know. I'll be on again this weekend. I'm sure I'll come up with more questions if you don't mind!

Melissa, dont be scared

These Dr's perform c-sections every single day, and they have mastered the art
Your precious baby will be delivered in the safest way and you will have him in your arms before you know it.

You will be fine believe me. Also c-section babies look nicer because they don't come down the birth canal If you have any ?'s just ask. I just had a section in September

Melissa, don't be scared. Everything will be just fine. Just think you will be holding your preceious baby in your arms sooo soon!! How exciting!!!! You have every right to be nervous, and that is totally normal. But just have faith in your dr.s and keep focused on the beautiful baby that is coming real soon.

I was a wreck in the hospital after the baby was born thinking about bringing him home and taking care of him, but don't worry. You are more ready than you know and these little babies are tougher than you think!

s to you!! Best of luck and we can't wait to hear all your news!!! If you have any questions about the c-sec feel free to FM me or just ask!

Try to look on the bright side. (Easier said than done I know) but, you have a couple of days to prepare yourself and make arrangements with your husband so he can be there for the 'procedure'. Also, it's not going to be a 'rushed' emergency section. It will be a carefully orchestrated procedure. And in the end you will have your baby. The one you have dreamt and fantasize about for months or maybe years! Totally worth it !
And as someone mentioned before CSection babies are always much more cutier IMO b'c they have perfect heads.

Good luck on monday!

Melissa I will be thinking of you. I am sure this is the best thing for you and the baby, and before you know it he'll be in your arms - that BIG BULLY BOY!!!! - and you'll be loving him to pieces!

Good luck and please report back soon - dont' be afraid. They do this all the time and you'll be up and around in no time flat.
