Do you like this dress? I went BM dress shoppin with My MOH and FSIL (1 of my BMs). We fell in love with the dress!

When I came home and showed FH... he said he doesn't like it. That its not formal

I like the dress its looks modern and formal. FH's never know about style! Where did you find the dress?

Why does FH have to like it ? Do YOU like it ? Do the BMs like it ? You're going to have a hard enough time w/ the BMs ......What is the material ? I think it's nice........what color will it be ?
My FH hasn't even seen the dress ! He just knows it's black and strapless. -

thanks Azad! This is much harder than I thought

awwwe don't worry g you'll find the pefect dress!!! our problem was we liked everything so we couldn't make up our minds!

they're both pretty, but the second one just seems more original and yet classic. also, the color on the first dress is a little too light for my taste....you want it to have some contrast in pictures and not look too white in photos!

i love the second one. what color would you have it? i generally prefer a darker color for the BM's so there is a contrast.

I am going to go back and have the girls try on the second dress... I would have it in the same color shown. Both dresses are actually the same color - pistachio.

I agree that the second one is more formal... I'll let everyone know which we choose.

Boy, can I empathize!

I like both dresses. I was also considering plaid Jim Hjelm dresses (you already know that).

Did you look at his separates collection? He has 3 different plaid tops (all come in pistachio) which you can pair with a solid skirt. I still may opt for them myself.

When I went looking, I was really looking at what my girls may look good in, what was sort of their style, so its really up to you and how you feel about it. For me, horizontal lines can sometimes make people who may not be super thin feel a little uncomfortable. But its up to you!

Its not horizontal lines... its plaid. Same pattern as on the second dress... also same color... just different design.
