I am so excited, I can't stop smiling & looking at my ring! Finally after 5 years and 2 months!!!
My head is spinning, I don't know what to do first ... but EVERYONE keeps asking me when the wedding is going to be. No big surprise there I guess, they've been asking when we're getting engaged for years now!
It hasn't even been a week yet, we just got engaged on Friday of Memorial Day Weekend.
What did you girls do first?!
Any cute ideas for asking the bridal party?

Congratulations!!!! Have Fun Planning. The first thing we did was look at Halls, go to some expos and taste food, listen to DJ's it's fun!!
Congrats!! We did the same.. went to expos.. food tastings.. then set a month we wanted and saw what days they had available from there! Good Luck!!!!

congrats and welcome!! will you be having an engagement party? i would start looking at ceremony and reception locations first
hello there and congrats!!!! good luck with everything....first and foremost you should start looking at RH and booking a church if you will get married at a church...those are the two most important things...everything will follow!!!

Welcome to LIW...you will be addicted to this site in no time.
First things we did were figure out a time frame, book our church and hall, and start looking at photographers and dj.

I found 'will you be my bridesmaid' cards online....I gave them the card and a rose. All the girls loved it! and it's something a little different :)
