Me, too!
FH wants soooo much to be in the CH, but I keep saying that we should be announced. I would also love to be in the CH, but I'm sure that many guests won't be there early. We should come out to everyone, with a song... right?
Should I give FH this one?

I wanted to come out but I want my entrance/intro to be my ENTRANCE. Know what I mean? Plus, I am going to be taking pics. I have decided that my entire BP can go out and the groom if he wants to, but I just don't want to. Some say it is so much better because you get to see everyone then and not waste time during the reception. But, I am not. Hope this helps!

We were. We got there about 15 minutes after it started cause we were finishing photos, but I wanted to go and eat at my cocktail hour since the food choices sounded so good and it also was a great opportunity to mingle around and talk with the guests this way I could spend time with them instead of trying to get to each table at the reception.
ETA - we were announced when we came into the reception.

Maybe we'll also let the BP go out during CH (though we'll have all the ameneties in our bridal suite that the CH would have), and me & FH will wait, for the grand entrance.

We went to ours and it was great! We greeted all of our guests and had so much fun. This left more time for partying at the reception!

we are going to take pictures before the ceremony so we can go to cocktail hour. i dont want to first get into the reception and havae to start saying hello to people, i want to enjoy myself

My whole thing is yes, we would still do the whole 'grand entrance' thing.
I mean, kind of the way I see it is people have already seen you at the church(at least the important people that made it anyway)

We are going to CH. We are having pics taken b4 cause CH is my fav part of a wedding. We might do grand enterance too. havent decided on that part yet,

i will defintely be at my cocktail hour. it is my favorite part of any wedding that i go to. i'll still make my 'entrance' the same way, but with 225 people i don't want to spend the entire reception greeting people. i can do a lot of that at the cocktail hour.

Not one bit!! People were screaming and going nuts. FI wanted to come out to a wrestling song (which I gave into) and we strutted in and people were screaming and whistling it was so great!! Then we walked all around the dance floor and everyone was cheering. I loved it and a few people even told us it was the best entrance they have seen at a wedding!
Also, most of our guests since they were coming from a little far had also come to the Church and had seen us there!

We will be at the CH, our ceremony is at 12:30, the cocktail hour is at 1pm, reception at 2, all in the same place. I want to greet the guests too, and have some fun at the reception.

I think I'll have the bridal party have the cocktail hour at a different area since we'll be taking pictures. My FI and I don't want to see each other until I walk down the aisle.

Me too! I just hope my pictures are finished by the time the cocktail hour starts!
