I plan on taking it easy during the CH and hanging out with my girls in the bridal suite fh and the boys will go mingle

I was taking pictures for the first 15 miutes of my coctail hour, then I went and stpped in to see how everything looked for about ten minutes and ten I went and hid in my bridal suite to relax and try and eat something for the last half hour!!

I'd rather hang out in the bridal suite and chill but my Mom and FH are people persons and both feel we should mingle in case guests want to give us our $$$ early....I negotiated with them and agreed to stay for only half of the cocktail hour...I know I will need some down time...refreshen makeup, hair, change shoes, etc....use the bathroom....men don't think of these things and I keep reminding FH he needs to change his shirt also...our ceremony is outside he will be hot in that tux and all and he will need a fresh shirt for the ballroom...we're going from outdoors (hot) to inside (cold)...we women are always ahead of the game brainwise.

We are planning to come to the cocktail hour, sort off I guess. My cocktail will be indoors/outdoors and we will be outside taking pictures

no, I want to use that time to take a breather and relax for a while, we have the reception till 2 am so I dont want to fall asleep on my guests

We are taking pics before the ceremony so hopefully we'll be enjoying our cocktail hour withe the rest of our BP and guests.

We're absolutely going !! - Everyone's going to see you anyway, I'm just not big a 'grand entrances' we'll be announced and everything, but I don't really care about the whole 'no one seeing me' thing, - it's just not me.....besides 250 people is A LOT to have to say hello to and the CH is a perfect time to socilaize w/ your guests.

We both hope we get to go. Hoping to finish the family pictures so we can go. The CH is usually 1 of my favorite parts.

Yep, we enjoyed our cocktail hour! I wanted to be there since it was so beautiful out and I wanted to chat with some family & friends.

We really want to go, but as a BM once I remember being so greatful to have a moemt to seat & it in the AC ( Although we had been in teh limo for 40 min, it was a long , hot day.)

and other peopel have told me between pics & bustlign we won't mak eit.

We hate pics. We love food.

I was not in CH... that is when we did pics. I like dit better b/c we had our own CH in the bridal suite so I still got to eat (sort of) and it was that much cooler when we were introduced into the reception. JMHO
