Westbury Manor

Hey ladies,

So I think that Westbury manor is my current first choice for my ceremony/ reception.I'm looking for some opinions from other girls who have booked there. I haven't done a tasting in the restaurant yet, so I would love to hear some feedback about the food. Also, can anyone tell me about their experiences in negotiating prices. Did you have success in getting the price down or getting extras thrown in. FMs are fine if you don't want to post here.
Thanks so much!

we ate at the restaurant there. the food was really awesome! however, the only thing that bugged me a little was to find out that that was our tasting. so we spent a fortune on our RH food tasting.

i thought there was an actual tasting where you get to taste the food that is served at the wedding.

but regardless, the food was really really good. i havent read a bad review on the food.

search WM in the brides review, and you can read up on the RH there.

I'm booked there for the spring. They were my first choice and beat everyone else by a mile in my opinion. The food is fabulous. As for negotiating...you can negotiate some of the 'extra's', I didn't have much luck on the price but with everything they threw in for me, I'm thrilled with the price!

I had my wedding there and it was amazing!! The food is excellent. They packed up the food from our no show (yes we had 6) guests and it was great reheated the next night. They do not do tasting but if you book with them they will give you a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant. I would HIGHLY recommend Westbury Manor. My wedding was perfect the staff is amazing! As for price and extras they worked with us on the price a little...they threw in a martini louge, passed martinis, passed California rolls, passed pigs in a blanket, cookies, fruit and pastries. Seriously, there is SO much food you really do not NEED any extras.

We had dinner there about 2 months ago and the food is AMAZING!!! Even without a tasting, we have no doubt that the food will be just as amazing the day of the wedding.

It's great to read about how positive everyone's experiences have been. It makes me feel more confident about choosing WM. For those who got extras added did you actually negotiate to get them or did the BM just offer them?
Thanks again ladies!

We booked WM and could not be happier!! We have eaten in the restaurant several times. Food is amazing!! One tip if you are adding things that are not included wait to the showcase so that you can get a discount.

Good luck!!

How did you get them to throw so much stuff in??? The only thing I got was a martini louge and I traded it out for something else.

We kept going back and forth on the date. DH wanted a summer wedding but I kept pushing March b/c it was much less $$. We ended up with a Sunday evening in August. I think they really wanted to book the date.

Summer there is especially nice since the gardens are so pretty and having an outdoor wedding there seems like it would be great.

Re: Westbury Manor

I JUST went to a wedding there this month. The food is GREAT! And the grounds are AWESOME! We had a tough time getting the price down with the guy we met with (I think his name was Mel). I kept saying I wanted a September wedding and he kept telling me for cheaper I can have March (which I didn't want). The ONLY reason we didn't book there is because if the weather is bad and the cocktail hour is inside, it's in 3 different rooms. I was going to live with that but we also are getting married there and they wouldn't let us have a ceremony that was on a Sunday night of Labor Day weekend.

So ladies I am so happy to say that I booked the Westbury Manor today !!!
I was able to negotiate down $5 per person and and also got a few extras known in. Yay!
I'm looking forward to using my gift certificate in the restaurant and getting to see what the food is like.
Thanks for all sharing your opinions. It was really helpful!
