I called WBM and they do not offer the chocolate fountain. Maybe if enough people ask for it they will get it.

LOVE the chocolate fountain :)

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I had a feeling they wouldn't do the fountain!! Well, maybe in the future they will add it on. OR you can think about paying someone to do it from an outside service if you really want it?

Juliet- I have never seen the fountain in person, but it looks like from the picture above it is melted chocolate and you can dip fruit or marshmallows in it!!

Did anyone see on theknot.com that someone posted that they have a new add on now - for extra money of course that you can add 7 menu choices instead of the regular offerings. Has anyone else heard this?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I also saw that posting about the 7 dinner choices but I have not heard that anywhere else. However I thought my dinner came with 5 choices not 3 like the person on the knot wrote. How many choices is everyone else getting. Maybe mine is 3. I am going to have to look at the contract when I get home tonight. Also I am glad the new manor room looks nice. I haven't seen it since they re did it. The last time I was there it was under construction.

Also I think I remember WM saying that the tables are either 10, 12, or 14. Does anyone know if this is right? They are still long oval tables right?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

From what I saw on the menus, there are 4 entree choices plus the chef's choice for vegetarian, so a total of 5 entree choices.

Is it an upgrade to have 7 choices or part of the new menu?

I think I heard that the tables are 10 or 12. I never heard of 14. That sounds crowded

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

We had 4 entree dinner choices and then when we told them we had a few vegeterians, they said that they offer that as well (they also offer kosher meals if anyone needs that). So, we decided to put it on the menu since we had about 4 people who were vegeterians.

The tables in the Manor Room are oval and seat 10, 12 or 14. I do not suggest putting 14 people at the tables - it's tight! We didn't b/c my mom's friend had been to a few weddings there where they crowded 14 people at the table and people complained there was no room. I had 1 or 2 tables with 9 and they didn't complain.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Oh the knot it was an upgrade (more ) to get the seven choices. I believe the Four Seasons menus they gave me allowed for 4 choices plus a veggie one like Juliet said. And yes, they are still oval tables and I was told 10, 12, or 14. But 14 is pushing it in my opinion. I was at a wedding at the Fox Hollow at a 14 person table and we were really cramped. I am going to try and avoid that.

The Manor Room is so gorgeous. You have to go see it. The ceilings, new bar, lighting. I am in love!!!! I was totally blown away and pleasantly surprised when I saw it!!!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I am so excited for the wedding I can't wait. I want to go see the new room right now!

Does anyone know how much more per plate the 7 choices are? I will probably just stay with the four plus vegie choice.

As for the tables are they different sizes? Or do they just cram 14 people onto a table that really should sit 10 or 12?

Also Tanbride- I just click on your bio and saw your cake cutting picture- Is that one of the cakes they offer or did you have to pay to have it upgraded?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I didn't upgrade my cake - when you chose the menu, you look through 2 books - 1 book of cakes that are included and the other book as the upgraded cakes. I upgraded and put 3 tier trays of pastry, cookies and fruit on the table so I didn't upgrade the cake which was delicious anyway!

As for the tables, they have 10, 12, & 14 tables - which means the tables actually have 10, 12 & 14 tops. So, when you do the seating chart for example, you can tell them, 'Table 1 has 10 people it but I want a 12 top' so that those 10 people are sitting at a bigger table and are not squeezed at a 10 person table.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Thanks- Did you add the flowers to your cake or did Westbury do that. It looked nice.

Was WM okay with requesting a 12 person top for 10 people?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Does anybody know if there is a dessert included in the Four Seasons menu? I think the menu offers it. Does this mean that the pastry trays are additional or in the place or dessert? Since we are paying for them, I would think they are additional. I am confused

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Yes there is dessert included in the four seasons menu in addition to the cake. If I remember correctly you get to choose which dessert you want from a few choices.
The pastry trays are extra $.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

So we get a dessert, a cake and then we opted to pay the $ and get the trays. I can't wait for my wedding, so I can eat

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

The WM was very accomodating to me in putting people at the larger tables - the only time they had a problem was when i had two tables of 8 and they wanted me to combine them or make a 10 person table - i moved people around and it was no problem.

I had my florist decorate the cake - the WM will do it for you but that's extra $$$ of course!

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I'm a little confused girls ... help me out.

The new menu that came out, is that for everyone? Or just new people that just booked?
The menu that I have has only 3 choices for dinner and I believe different things then this 'new' four seasons menu ...
Do I have to call and make a stink and get this new menu or it is for everyone?
Help me
