The next showcase is July 14th. I assume its the same time as the last showcase, 6:30pm. Its a good idea to meet inside instead of outside. I dont know if they have the same stations at every showcase. Maybe we can meet in the polo lounge by the bar???

FH doesn't get off the train till 7ish so we are not going to be able to meet till 7:30. Sorry girls

I think its better to make it later rather than ealier that way everyone will have a chance to make it. As the time gets closer we will see what time works best.

I think most of us are going and we'll arrange a time and place to meet as it gets closer. We tried last time to meet at the fountain, but everyone ended up at the Martini bar!

The martini bar sounds good to me! lol Have you been there for dinner yet? When I asked Felicia about a tasting she said that we got a $100 gift certificate to eat at the restaurant as our tasting. I've heard nothing but great things about the food so I'm not really worried.

They do give you a gift certificate. FH and I along with his parents went to eat at the restaurant one night. We had a great time and the food is SO good. You'll love it! Which room will you be for the wedding?

We're going to be in the Manor Room. I love the fact that people can walk right out side into the garden if they want to smoke or get some fresh air. They don't have to walk all the way outside to the front. I also like the fact that she said if we have a Venetian Hour for desert they can set it up outside. How about you?

But, if you're having an evening wedding then seriously consider it. VH is awesome, but don't book it until the showcase, because they give great discounts at the showcase!

Ohh really? That's good to know. We'll wait it out then and see what happens that night. We're having the ceremony at a church but it must be nice to do it outside in the garden.

And by the way, I just read your engagement story and I LOVE it! It's funny because I thought that FH was going to ask me the same way. After we went ring shopping we went to a Ranger game a few days later and he was dropping hints all over the place - it was obviously just to throw me off lol

Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Lets all post on here when we get our invitations so we can start setting up a time to meet. So it looks like the martini bar is a good place to meet. I guess we will all know eachother from our name tags. Some time before the showcase we all need to post our real names.

Aww. Thank you. I just went and read your proposal story and that is SO sweet! I love Cherry Blossom Trees! It is nice to see another set of Ranger fans, not all the Islander fans. LOL.

Yeah, he's a HUGE Ranger fan. I think that if I told him I was an Islander fan he would have broken up with me a long time ago lol It's bad enough we have the Mets/Yankees debate all the time (I'm the Mets fan). We already argue about which team we're going to raise our kids to like lol
