What are some of this spring/summers' fashions 'trends'

I get to go buy some new clothes soon and need some ideas....
What are the 'hot' colors? Shoe ideas? I'm not too into heels, I'll do a slide on sandal/sneaker, or a wedge heel or platform.

I get to wear anything I want to work (jeans, tee shirts, shorts, etc).

I'm pretty simple and I like my clothes not to be totally trendy so that they are useless next year, but nice enough that I don't look like I don't fit in......

I don't totally follow trends either Felicia....I prefer to be comfortable and to wear what looks good on me, even if it is 3 years old.

None of the clothes I had last summer from my HM fit either.... BUT...as long as Rich keeps telling me I'm beautiful....I won't be so mad about it!

I still have a skort that I wear...

They were really big last year.. I bought quite a few last year for my HM ... which don't fit anymore

BUT I still saw a few the other day and I bought a few new (bigger) ones.. I'm not sure they are really 'in' but I like them and they are very comfy

I told ya I wasn't 'in fashion'

I love them.. I haven't seen them anywhere..where did you find them? They are very comfy!!!

I don't follow trends either..i can't change my wardrobe each year. The skort that I still have is from HS!! It doesn't really fit anymore though. I get a few new things each season and that's it.

I saw some skorts when I was shopping for a gift in Kohl's - also NY & Co has a few.

I was just emailed a $30 off a $75 purchase for NY & CO --- if anyone would like it forwarded, please drop me an FM and I'll do it in a little bit.

Awwww .. you have a good hubby there!

And I agree, I cannot be a slave to fashion just because its 'in' . if I don't look good in something, why TRY to wear it and look silly

I bought one skort in Bolton's, but the other ones I ordered from Spiegel and Kohl's online..

somehow they made me look GINORMOUS

Oh yes, I look like an IDIOT in Bermuda shorts, and in longer skirts too.

I'm too short for that!

Me too...my thighs are the worst part of my body, so I love capris and jeans with my tank tops during the summer.

Oh definitely, me too...I do not expose these legs if I can help it!

I'm so weird, over the summertime I'll never wear shorts or even tanks.. I'm so self concious. The only real time I'll wear shorts/skorts/tanks/cami type stuff is on vacation. We're going to Florida the end of the month which is why I'm looking for all this stuff since I think I'll be too hot in capris

I love CAPRIS!! I hope they never go out because I have lots of those..

I was in AT Loft yesterday and saw a lot of pink, coral, spring green, turquiose and white.

I have also seen a lot of pastel leather accessories in Coach and D&B

I don't care what they're showing with those ugly skirts, gold shoes and bermuda shorts...I'm sticking with capris and tanks with my flippies (flip flops).
