What are the most romantic restaurants in NY metro area?

Please recommend some restaurants.

I want to make a to eat at with HUSBAND list.

I LOVE SAYING, 'HUSBAND'.

Casa La Femme- in nYC oooberrllyy romantic you sit on the floor and eat in a private tent...its egyptian/meditterenean food... really good

One by Land Two if By Sea- always voted most romantic for years...for Valentines day- it gets booked up a year in advance practicallyy

Casa La Femme is our favorite!!! The most romantic and secluded restaurant. We go there on every 6 month and annual anniversary :)

The River Cafe! Went there on Christmas Day with FH---he had propsed to me there a week before and we're going to take wedding pics by the Brooklyn Bridge behind it--so beautiful--but beware, Dinner cost 500 bucks (we had a bottle of wine though...)

the river cafe view is incredible, but the food just gets worse n worse in my opinion.... NOT worth it in my opinion.... 500 is like half of rent for some people...wouldnt mind spending it only if the food was outta the world good - which it wasnt

I know its been done a zillion times, but there is something about the garden at Tavern on the Green in the summer with the live jazz that makes it consistently awesome!

They are actually going out of business. We were supposed to have our wedding their and they cancelled on us in mid December.
I believe tonight is supposed to be the last night they're open..

This is actually 1 block away from where FH and I live! Love this place! FH and I go there for drinks all the time

Not just saying this cus Im getting married there, but, The Rose Hunt room (I think this is the name) at Fox Hollow is really a great ambiance. Also, I like the restaurant at George Washington Manor. And the best food and a really quaint ambiance is at Wild Honey in Oyster Bay. Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Oh ya, I also liked the restaurant at Carlye on the Green!
And in Manhattan I LOVE Flor de Sol. Its a spanish restaurant that serves tapas that are to die for! Also try Session 73. Very very good food and its very loungy!

in the summer my fav place is Poco locos in Roslyn- Best margaritas ever and a really cute porch to dine on.

A.O.C. Bedford, Les Amis, and Morton's in the City. I agree with the recommendations for Casa La Femme.

Really?!?! Oh No, that was FH's and my 2nd date so for our one year anniv he took me there. That's so sad. I loved that place.

You should try citysearch.com and can look up the most romantic restaurants in NYC.

in bay ridge my favorite is Emi on 3rd ave. that's where we're going tonight. and i may be bias, but the restaurant at Westbury Manor is sooooo good!

Candela is closing on 3/3/07 and renovating for 2 months, then they will re-open.

For moroccan tapas and ambiance, check out Shalel on 70th and Columbus (UWS).

It's small and intimate. Great imported drinks...and you can sit by a trickling waterfall surrounded by candles. It's gorgeous. Go early though...gets crowded at night!

HIGHLY recommend
