What are your job PERKS?

We have our annual Memorial Day picnic this Friday - it's HUGE. It's in the parking lot of our 'campus' (5 corporate buildings). They set up big white tents and cater the whole thing with all kinds of awesome food. They have carnival-type games and stuff like that.
They do something similar for Christmas - there's a huge holiday party that's both indoors and outdoors; there are themed rooms with food and music that fits the theme (this past year it was decades, like 50s, 60s, 70s, etc.).

In September we have Six Flags day. Our company rents out the entire park for us for the day, and they do a huge BBQ lunch.

Team building events, like go-kart racing, golf tournaments, movie day (we rent out the theater), baseball game day.....

Great profit-sharing plan.

and on fridays we have this thing called the drink trolly (at 4:30 we all go to the 16th and have a few cocktails)
oh and we have a pool table on one of the other floors.

We occasionaly have friday 'sherry hour' which is sometimes not sherry & is champagne or other beverage. An older editor said 'sherry hour' is an publishing tradition.

4 weeks vacation gets upped to 5 after a certain # of years

I'm Layed off but I have perks through DH's Employer. (he just recently got hired, so I haven't taken advantage of all the benefits)

-75% off Fed Ex overnight deliveries. (again, nice because I am always sending family packages)

Those are just a few.

Summer off -- that is the big one.

I have meetings to attend throughout June, so I actually do not have a full week of school left I have at least one day away from the school each week.

but not all the time, but this year we got a free digital camera and printer.

My boss never cares if I need to take a day off, leave early or come in late. As long as my work gets done.
